Do I need an additional SIM card?

Yes, you’ll need an additional SIM card in the industry-standard Nano format to use the Luada emergency watch. The SIM card is not included in the delivery.

How do I set up the emergency watch? What is the setup service?

The delivery includes a German-language manual that guides you step by step through setting up the Luada emergency watch.

There are basically two different ways to perform the setup:

1. You set up the Luada emergency watch independently via SMS:

Our German-language user manual contains everything you need to set up the Luada emergency watch.

All you need for the setup is the phone number of the SIM card. Programming is then done via SMS.

The smartphone doesn’t need to be near the emergency watch for the setup. This means friends, children, or grandchildren can easily set it up for you.

2. You use our free setup service:

Setup is even easier with our free setup service, which you can access here.

Simply enter your information into the web form, and the watch will be automatically set up in just a few minutes – that’s it.

Are there any monthly or ongoing costs?

Unlike many other providers, we don’t charge high subscription fees, so you can operate the Luada emergency watch cheaply in the long term.
